Although I haven\u2019t been posting much on the blog, there\u2019s been a ton going on behind-the-scenes. I\u2019ve been focusing on personal projects, which have given me a chance to reconnect<\/em> with photography and to re-establish my purpose<\/em>. I think finding and developing a purpose is such an important foundation for creative evolution.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m excited for the things that have yet to transpire.<\/p>\n

Sometimes the way to take a step forward is to actually take a couple steps back. It\u2019s kinda illogical, isn\u2019t it? But it can feel so good to just\u00a0\u00a0 stop.\u00a0\u00a0 be mindful.\u00a0\u00a0 turn off the phone, and simply be<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The past few months have been an opportunity to explore the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my wife, spend time with incredible friends, and to push my own boundaries \u2013 all while creating photos. Moments of growth are never easy, or comfortable, but they\u2019re part of a personal journey that we just gotta embrace.<\/p>\n
